Welcome to the Memorial Library!
Welcome Mighty Wolverines! I am your librarian, Mrs. Whitelaw. I have been a Secondary teacher and librarian in PSJA for over 11 years. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Texas Pan-American in 2012 and a Master's Degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University in 2020. Reading has always been a passion of mine, and I truly believe it is food for the soul. My mission as a librarian has always been to create an environment where students are provided a space to read, create, interact, and explore. When I am not in the library, you can find me spending time with my family, and dog, or wrapped up in a good book.
At our library you will:
- Learn how to research, communicate, and collaborate with peers.
- Discover a love for reading!
- Find a space conducive to learning and studying.
- Support Literacy.
